Recently, the East Hill team returned from the 16th edition of Cosmoprof North America. We had the privilege of networking with several accomplished companies in the beauty industry, along with newer names that have been recognized for their innovative ideas.
Held in Las Vegas, Cosmoprof North America 2018 hosted 40,000 attendees from 56 different countries, a 9% jump in attendance from 2017 — totaling 1,415 exhibitors, a 10% increase compared to the previous year.
Several trends dominated the forefront; we saw everything from plant-based products to rainbow colored hair dyes! We were particularly excited for the 2018 edition, as heavy emphasis was placed on packaging through the Discover Pack Program, a feature geared towards packaging trends, analysis, and marketing. Due to the exponential success of this annual trade show, organizers will launch Cosmopack North America in 2019, a new event dedicated to packaging in Las Vegas.
