Glass packaging creates an experience for the user. The feel and sound of glass is unlike any other type of packaging. Each year, the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) celebrates this experience with the Clear Choice Awards.
The winning glass containers were selected by an independent panel of food and beverage packaging professionals, including Ethan Fixell, beer, wine and spirits journalist; Tom Bobak, Editor-in-Chief of American Craft Beer; and Denise Purcell, Head of Content for the Specialty Food Association.
The award winners vary in category from food to cosmetics. This year, the winner of the “Cosmetics, Fragrances & Other” category was Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (pictured above). GPI had the following to say about the product:
Advanced Night Repair, like all Estee Lauder products, has to fully express what luxury means: elegance, grace, purity. Ampoules, contained within the facial treatment, served as inspiration for the product’s heavy, clear and beautiful jar.
