Gift BoxBirchbox is a popular online subscription service that sends clients a box of four or five individually selected makeup or personal care products each month. Subscribers love this service, and many beg Birchbox to open brick and mortar locations in their cities so they can gain access to products more frequently. With its new roadtrip campaign, Birchbox will be making that dream a reality for some in 2016.

Birchbox does currently have one physical location in Soho, New York and has a partnership with Gap in which it tests beauty shops in different Gap locations. The company plans to open two more permanent stores next year — a Birchbox and a Birchbox Man store. However, they’re leaving the locations up to the consumer. During the summer roadtrip, Birchbox will transform two shipping containers into full service beauty and grooming shops. Each will feature a “Build your own Birchbox” station, free services, and a rooftop deck.

Vote for your shop!

The shops will be traveling to three U.S. cities. Subscribers can vote here to have Birchbox come to their town. The route will be announced on August 3rd. The shops will be open between August 7th and August 29th. The best performing cities will become the new Birchbox permanent locations.
